…and sometime the deer eats you.
I’m not a hunter, but I wouldn’t normally consider deer “dangerous game.”

My Brother-in-law, and a few other people I talked to carry .22 handguns with them when hunting. Its good for taking smaller game while hunting, and also when the deer drops they give it one in the hat to make sure he’s dead for real.
