		<description>I couldn&#039;t do it either.   I  thought about buying a Colt 1908 they had at the shop with a cruddy action and a missing magazine (gun has a disconnect so no mag, you have a paperweight)  but I couldn&#039;t bring myself to buy the gun only to let the Massholes melt it down at a profit to me.   I just left it at the shop, somebody else bought it.

You want a project gun, buy some beater that&#039;s still in production that never was issued as a war rifle.  You&#039;ll feel much better.</description>

		<description>Yeah, I wonder about my M1 Garand sometimes.  It hss a WWII era serial number.  It even has someone&#039;s name carved into the stock.  It&#039;s not hard to imagine what sort of history it could have.</description>
