I thought about buying a Colt 1908 they had at the shop with a cruddy action and a missing magazine (gun has a disconnect so no mag, you have a paperweight) but I couldn't bring myself to buy the gun only to let the Massholes melt it down at a profit to me. I just left it at the shop, somebody else bought it. You want a project gun, buy some beater that's still in production that never was issued as a war rifle. You'll feel much better.
