Service release 3.2 updates:
- Added Jennifer from In Jennifer’s Head. Jennifer is the originator of the Hollywood Monkey meme.
- Holy crap…the Nerds weren’t on my blogroll? Well, they are now. Anger, snark, and science, all rolled into one delicious package.
Pardon our dust
After JayG pointed out that he was inexplicably missing from Newbie Shooter’s Farm Fresh Blogroll™, I decided to do a little maintenance. Man, was that thing dusty!
Here is the Bugfix list:
- Added a link to MArooned. For your daily dose of angry snark. And you can leave saying “Man, North Carolina may be the California of the South, but at least I don’t live THERE!”
- Fixed a known bug in which xrlq was not listed.
- Added three new categories: “Gunnies I’ve met”, “Other Bloggers”, and “Podcasts.”
- Added links to two of my favorite podcasts: “B, B and Guns” and “Viscous Circle”. B,B & Guns features Bonnie, Breda, and, well, guns. Viscous Circle is what it would be like to sit around for 2, or three, or sometimes god help us even 4 or 5 hours and bullshit with your gunnie friends. (*WARNING*: Please see the attached README about the importance of not clicking on any links from Viscous Circle.)
- Corrected a bug in which there was no link to Mule Breath.
- Changed blog layout based on results of extensive focus group testing. (“Honey? What do you think about this?”

An announcement from the management
When I began “Newbie Shooter”, my original vision was to provide a resource for new shooters to get all the information that I wished I had when I stated shooting. Over the last few months, it has come to my attention that I’ve strayed a bit from that initial vision and gotten into a lot more politics and other topics than I originally intended.
I’ve decided to refocus on newbies, and split off the non-newbie topics into a separate blog. So, it is with great pleasure that I announce Armed Computer Geek. Now I can have two blogs that I don’t update enough!
